Here at FDU a special class is offered during the fall semester, Special Topics in the Sports Industry. This class is taught by Professor Delchop, he is the former head of sales for the New York Red Bulls. This class is taught in person but he switches which campus he teaches at every week. Hey guys! A few weeks ago I traveled with the FDU Women's Bowling team to our second NEC tournament. Over the course of our season we compete in two North East Conference tournaments. These tournaments determine if we make it to the NEC Championship tournament in the end of March. For NEC 2 we traveled to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Hey guys! Today I just wanted to share a little bit about a typical Day in my Life as the student manager of the FDU Women's bowling team. A typical day when there's practice starts at 5:30am. We have a pod practice Tuesday's at 6:30 and we have to be at the bowling center at 6:15am. We practice at Bowler City which is about 7 minutes from my dorm on campus. Hey everyone! A few weeks ago I was given the opportunity to be the scorekeeper and assistant official at the East Coast Conference Women's Bowling Championship. The event lasted three days, Friday to Sunday. As an official at the championship event we all have to be neutral which is why I (a student at FDU with our team in the NEC) was asked to scorekeep and assistant official.
