Get to Know Me!

Hey guys welcome to the blog! My name is Luci Preciado and I'm a junior at Fairleigh Dickinson University. I'm majoring in Sport Management with a minor in Social Media.

I'm currently the student manager for the FDU D1 Women's bowling team. I grew up playing multiple different sports including soccer, field hockey, and of course bowling.

My Goal for this blog is to be able to share my experiences as well as advice I have for sport management majors but more specifically women pursuing a sports management degree. This includes ways to get internships, what classes to take, and how to make connections.

As we all know, the sports industry is extremely difficult to get your foot into but it's even harder for women because sports is such a male dominant field. My first tip for everyone is to make connections. Networking and making connections with anyone you can that works in sports is one of the key things you need to making your name known.
